Our working habits have been revolutionised by BlackBerry

Mobile data has all too frequently disappointed, with a seemingly never-ending conveyor belt of phones and electronic organisers that have typically promised so much more than they delivered. Many of us would be more than happy to trade clips from Premiership football, picture messaging and the like for something that would undoubtedly make our working life easier: instant, trouble-free access to email on the move.

It's been hard to ignore the hype surrounding the advent of high speed mobile data and the much talked about GPRS and 3G networks, but none of this technology had translated into anything truly ground-breaking for business users. However, finally a product called BlackBerry has arrived and completely changed the landscape - overnight.

At Adam Phones we started using BlackBerry, just as we try out pretty well every new mobile device at launch. In a market increasingly dominated by stunning looking products, this one did not immediately impress out of the box and many of us were equally sceptical at first about its capabilities. However, within days it had become clear that this was a truly ground breaking product.
