Pre-Installation
We have created a point-by-point checklist, which outlines all of the specific tasks that need to be carried out before we go on site to perform the installation. These tasks include the hardware and software requirements for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server computer, and the various permissions, service packs and patches that need to be installed and configured (where necessary).
The purpose of the checklist is to ensure a swift and successful installation, reducing any potential network downtime to users whilst the installation takes place.
Installation
On the date of installation a Microsoft Certified engineer will visit your premises to install the server software. This visit will involve provisioning the handhelds, testing each element of the solution to ensure all is working correctly and demonstrating the server software to the IT department along with the devices to new users.
In doing this we ensure that both the IT department and the users themselves have an understanding of how BlackBerry works and are comfortable with every aspect of it. Thereafter we provide free, ongoing telephone and email support for users and IT administrators.
