What do they even look like these days?
Take a look at the attached. The first one is disguised as a tree, and the second one is built in to a lampost - they really aren't eye sores at ground level. Of course on top of buildings a tree would look odd so they just take their usual antenna form.

I think most people who have a problem with it do so from a health perspective - not that the same people would avoid sunbathing because that's proven to give you cancer (just my opinion though).

wow....they are very well hidden. The tree does look fake but at least it blends in with the surroundings and as for the lamp post, I can't see anything other than it being a bit thicker near the top.

Yes, they do put the effort in. As I say it's more a case of so called 'tinfoil hat' wearers these days than anything else, but I'm setting my disclaimer in place that it's an opinion and certianly nothing endorsed by the company that owns this forum - I'm not getting sued by someone in 20 years time for having made a claim they took as gospel! Everyone's entitled to their opinion (including me) and if people feel strongly enough to protest cell site development in their areas then they're legally entitled to do so - some (in fact many) win their battles. But as all the studies have shown so far, mobile signals are safe, and whether you have one on your street is beside the point as they are all around us in most places we go every day.

They did this to a tower about 3 miles from my house that's on some church property. I saw them adding the limbs, and a couple days later I barely even noticed it. They should do this to more (or all) cell towers.
