You may benefit by specifying DNS addresses, or setting the MTU to 1300.
For DNS:
Go to Settings in the dashboard and select APN.
Select Manual APN and against Access Point enter internet, for username enter web and password enter web.
A little further down the page are boxes labelled DNS1 and DNS2. In the first enter 212.73.32.3 and in the second 212.73.32.67 then OK your way out of that page, reconnect and test.
One modem which takes exception to this rule is the 3G USB E272. The Firmware/Software needs to be upgraded, otherwise the settings you set for DNS will be ignored because of a VMC Lite issue on that modem.
Let me know if this works for you and if you need to upgrade the modem firmware if you are using the E272.
To change the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit), you can download any free utility from the web.
