Default Multiple Exchange setup

Hi

We're looking in to deploying Exchange push in our network. We have two Exchange 2003 servers and I'm confused as to whether or not I need to install the web admin tools on both Exchanges, just the back end Exchange or just the front end Exchange.

Any info appreciated

Hi

It's a great question, and the whole 'front end, back end' server config can be a bit of a confusing one.

Basically in an environmnt where you have front end and back end Exchange servers, you only need to install the ActiveSync Web Administration tool on the front end Exchange Server.
